In coaching I believe in fair play, honest work, and sportsmanship.  I strive to redefine what it means to win.  Are the players learning and growing and wanting to continue with softball?  To me, that’s winning.  I believe in the life lesson that hard work leads to success and being successful is fun!  The purpose of a youth sports program is NOT a training ground for professional sports; it’s to teach them how to be community oriented citizens with ambitions and goals.  I believe players should be taught and guided, not yelled at.  I don’t believe in motivation by fear.  It may look like it works in the beginning, but the shelf life is not long. If you can’t get their hearts, they will bail.

If your interested in playing on our team, please give me a call or send me a message.  I have one open spot.  If your player makes the team, I will work to:

      1.       Understand them.  Their strengths and weaknesses.

2.       Speak to their hearts and inspire them to be better athletes/citizens.

3.       Teach them the fundamentals. Without a core, everything else collapses.

We plan to compete in at least 8-10 tournaments including at least one in-state out of town tournament.  We will also play in the Jeffco Double Header League.

We practice in the Westminster/ Broomfield area.
